I took a little time off between thing 12 and 13. I finally had the time to sit and listen to a few different sessions. I came across one in particular that was discussing technology with professional development and the ability to use this technology to better your curriculum.

“Facilitating Technology Integration: A Synthesis of the Research”
I found this to be very interesting. Since the first day of this class I have been asking myself the same question. Can I use this technology as part of my curriculum? What I have learned from this class is that there is plenty of information out there to see and use. I just hope that I can manage it when I need to. With professional development, choosing the right information is crucial, but being able to implement it is the key. Technology integration, whether we like it or not technology is growing more intense every day. When you think you have seen it all, your not even close.
This was worth my time. It made me think about the process of choosing the right professional development for the staff and how important it is to decide on the different ways of implementing it and most importantly is will the staff beable to use this information to better their students.
